As of September 15, 2022, Prince William County shows 312,051 registered voters.
Of those, a mere 15, 425 are inactive. This is a status given when people are no longer living at their registered address in the county.
Yet, over 30,000 pieces of undelivered mail were sent back to the elections office between June and August, 2022 from redistricting notices and National Change of Address (NCOA) notices. When undelivered mail is received by the election office, the registered voter is supposed to be made inactive and then after 2 Federal elections of not voting they are removed from the rolls.
Yet only 15,425 are inactive. More analysis is coming later.
